![]() ![]() ![]() | Aarons love for the outdoors started at a very young age. Aaron can remember joining his father in the great outdoors every since he was old enough to walk. Learning to hunt in the hills of Tennessee and the swampy hardwood bottoms of Alabama, Aarons love for the outdoors became an obsession. Growing up Aaron wasn't fortunate enough to spend alot of time with his father due to his parents seperating! Aaron recalls " growing up i remember every chance i got to see my father i knew we would either be hunting or fishing." So needless to say Aaron looked forward to seeing his father every chance he got! Alot of Aarons skills he has learned as a hunter have been self taught. "I didn't have anyone i could turn to and ask questions or teach me how to hunt or fish when my father wasn't around. I had to rely on myself and learn from my experiences and mistakes to hone my skills. but you better believe when dad was around i was asking questions and he was eager to teach me." Today Aarons most memorable hunts are ones shared with his father."As many times a year as im fortunate enough to hunt, the best and most memorable ones are with my father. Most of my time spent in the woods these days are with my crew either filming them or them filming me, but i always find the time in my hectic schedule to break free from everything and spend some quality time in the outdoors with my father." Aaron also loves to teach others how to hunt, especially our youth. "I believe that if we as hunters dont stick together and get more woman and children involved in the great outdoors it will soon be a thing of the past, afterall they are the future of our sport. I believe that a child that enjoys the outdoors is far more likely to succeed in life and stay out of trouble. Hunting and the outdoors isn't about killing or seeing who can harvest the biggest animal, it's about the time spent with family and friends and it's also a great learning experience." Aaron has been fortunate enough to work with a great organization called "Kids Hunting for a Cure" for the past 2 years." I love seeing the smiles on those kids faces every year at the kids hunt. There's no greater feeling in the world than to know that you have just made a difference in a young kids life." In closing, Aaron looks forward to many memory filled adventures in the great outdoors with family, friends and most of all his father. |

My name is Ronnie Cook of Greenfield,TN. I am married to Michelle and we have three children Karsen, Kendal and Keaton. I Grew up hunting with my grandfather at the age of 8. I learned alot like its not always about what you kill but its about the thrill and experience of the hunt. I am absolutely addicted to the outdoors. I spend alot of time hunting with my youngest daughter Kendal and would rather watch her take a deer than for me to take the biggest buck in the world. Keaton is just getting started . I love to watch a person young or old take there first deer or turkey. We have been a part of Kids Hunting For A Cure since it started and will continue to support their great cause. If you want to see some happy kids sign up and help at this event.
I am firm believer if more people got involved in hunting and the outdoors, there would be far less problems in this world. |
| My name is Mitch Hendrix. I was born February 5th, 1981 and raised in Decatur, AL. My father began taking me hunting at the age of 4, and I killed my first deer at the age of 6. From that moment on.. I was hooked. Some of my best memories of growing up are being with my father and grandfather in the woods. Hunting has always been a huge part of who I am. Not only is it a hobby… it is a passion. To me, it is a way of life. I have harvested many nice deer over the years, but I am still waiting on that Alabama State Record! Bowhunting is my favorite way to hunt..although I am not opposed to picking up a gun! Now living in Hartselle, Al…I am married to my wife ,Taylor who also shares my passion for hunting. We have a 3 year old daughter, Emma Grace…And I hope that soon, she will be right there in the woods with us! My name is Taylor Hendrix I was born November 2nd, 1984 and raised in Hartselle, Alabama. I am married to Mitch and we have a 3 year old daughter, Emma Grace. I have been around hunting my entire life. It seemed only natural for me to pick up the sport. I have become more and more involved in the past few years, and It has grown into my passion. There is nothing I enjoy more than being in the woods. I truly enjoy having a hobby that I can share with my husband. My goal, without a doubt is to get more women involved in hunting. I think there is a need for women in the industry and I would love to be able to bring more women in. |
